Terms & Conditions of Sale – Wingate Timber
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the sale of goods by Wingate Timber (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the customer (“you”, “your”). By placing an order on our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

3. Products
All products are described and displayed as accurately as possible. Wood is a natural product, and variations in size, weight, colour and moisture content may occur. Images are for illustrative purposes only.
4. Orders & Contract Formation
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement by email. This does not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract is formed only once payment has been received and we have confirmed dispatch.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in GBP and include VAT (where applicable). Payment must be made at the time of order via the available payment methods on our website. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
6. Delivery
We deliver within the United Kingdom. Delivery timescales are indicated on the product page but are estimates only. Wingate Timber is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or events beyond our reasonable control.
Delivery will be made to the address provided by you at checkout. It is your responsibility to ensure access for delivery vehicles.
7. Cancellation & Returns
Consumers have a statutory right to cancel an order within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To exercise this right, you must notify us by email.
Returned goods must be unused, in their original packaging, and fit for resale. You will be responsible for return costs unless the product is faulty.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods.
8. Faulty or Incorrect Goods
If goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
9. Liability
We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for failure to perform our obligations if caused by events beyond our control (force majeure).
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
